Our Story

Kent Little founded JKL Quarterhorses out of a love and appreciation for the American Quarterhorse. Our goal has always been to breed for speed, heart, athleticism and a great mind. Our areas of focus in the horse business are training, breeding and competing with Barrel and Rope horses. We believe each of our horses should have a chance to reach their full potential through proper care, nutrition, upbringing and training. We are fans of the “Old School” Quarterhorse breeding as well as the newer crosses.
